The Landscape Architects Registration Board (LARB) of Hong Kong was established on 10 September 1997 under the Landscape Architects Registration Ordinance - Cap. 516 (LARO).

According to Section 10 of LARO, the Board shall appoint a person to be Registrar, who shall be responsible for the custody of the register and shall serve as secretary to the Board. The current Registrar is:
According to Section 3 of LARO, LARB shall consist of not less than 10 members appointed by the Council of the Hong Kong Institute of Landscape Architects (HKILA). These members must also be members of HKILA. The Chief Executive of HKSAR Government may appoint one member. The current Board members are:
According to Section 16 of LARO, the Board may appoint a Registration Committee of not less than 3 persons who are members of the Hong Kong Institute of Landscape Architects (HKILA). The Chief Executive of HKSAR Government may appoint one member to this Committee. The current Registration Committee members are:
According to Section 21 of LARO, the Board may refer any complaint concerning a disciplinary offence to an Inquiry Committee for decision, and for that purpose the Board may establish an Inquiry Committee of not less than 3 members of the Hong Kong Institute of Landscape Architects (HKILA).
According to Section 25(2) of LARO, the Board shall appoint 3 of its members to site with the Chairman of the Board as a Review Committee to review the decision of the Inquiry Committee. The Board shall not appoint a member of the Inquiry Committee to be a member of the Review Committee.
